BlueBirds Make us Happy

The Rev. Michael Kabel's flock is expanding again. Kable is the pastor at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Barton where he ministers. He also has a passion for helping the bluebird population. Several years ago he began erecting bluebird boxes in and around the parish church buildings. He asked nearby farmers to do the same. Boxes even went up at the cemetery there. His latest efforts have paid off. On Holy Saturday, Kable reported a nest of five eggs had all hatched.
