Lauren Givens and Marc Potter were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mozart, with the Rev. Randolph Richardson, the Rev. Gail Bauzenberger and the Rev. William Kurz officiating.

Parents of the bride are Dennis and Debbie Givens of Wheeling.

Parents of the groom are Frank and Pat Potter of Wheeling.

Karen Hoskinson was matron of honor. Vernon Potter served as best man.

Other attendants were Rachel Raziano; Lesley Applegarth; Allison Bartek; Janice Hensley; Christine Spangler; Hayley McNerney; Kevin Whiteman; Nick Kellam; Nathan Givens, brother of the bride; Chris Druschel; Jason Miller; Dr. Philip Puskarich and Dr. Jim Moore.

A reception was held at the McLure City Center Hotel, Wheeling.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 2003 graduate of West Liberty State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She is employed as a veterinary technician at New Horizon Animal Hospital, St. Clairsville, and is an organist at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mozart.

The groom is a graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 2004 graduate of Fairmont State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management. He is employed as an equipment operator at the Mitchell Plant for American Electric Power.

After a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Wheeling.
