From sun up to sun down, there are endless ways to have an exciting, relaxing and, most importantly, memorable time in Ocean City, Md.
Last summer, I traveled to the familiar destination spot with one of my closest friends — Tracey Safcsak. Growing up as next-door neighbors, we had always visited the Maryland seashore with our families. So it was only natural that when we hit our 20s, and were able to go on our own, we would create a new page in the scrapbook of Ocean City memories and head to the beach.
Whether it’s basking in the sun on one of the 10 miles of broad Atlantic beach or dancing the night away in one of Ocean City’s premiere night clubs, visitors of any age have endless options when it comes to entertainment.
In the summer, Ocean City features swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, surf fishing, kite flying, sand castle building and a host of other pursuits. Two full-scale amusement parks, arcades, miniature golf courses, two enclosed malls, a new outlet shopping center, movie theaters, go-kart tracks, a variety of restaurants, bars and clubs, and a 3-mile, ocean-front boardwalk loaded with shops and restaurants will keep you busy in Ocean City.
