PADEN CITY - Cody Scott rushed for two touchdowns in the second quarter and that's all Valley needed to down cross-county rival Paden City, 15-6, Friday night.
Scott finished with 38 yards on the ground, including the two scoring runs of 2 and 6 yards. He also had 82 yards passing.
Malakai Anderson hit Josh Bennett for an 11-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter for Paden City (4-6).

ST. CLAIRSVILLE - Harrison Central rallied with 14 points in the fourth quarter to top St. Clairsville in the last game on grass at the former Belmont County Fairgrounds and a clinch an Ohio Division III, Region 11 playoff berth
Ben Palmer's 3-yard touchdown run won it for Harrison Central, which also received a 35-yard touchdown pass from Kyle Blanchard to Alex Brooks in the final quarter.
Palmer finished with 194 yards on the ground and two touchdowns.

ZANESVILLE - Kyle Gladden ran for 230 yards and three touchdowns and surpassed the 1,000-yard mark for the season as Zanesville walloped Jackson.
Cole Hudson was 16 of 19 for 276 yards for Zanesville and threw two scoring strikes - one to Michael Lynn for 38 yards and the other to Noah Baldwin from 23 yards away.

MORGANTOWN - D.L. Lawrence scored on a 2-yard touchdown and threw a 14-yard pass to Bryan Cox as Toronto (2-8) defeated Trinity (2-7).
Mick DeSantis scored the other touchdown for the Red Knights on a 1-yard run in the second quarter.

BEALLSVILLE - Jarod Mellinger rumbled for 62 yards and three touchdowns while Logan Groves eclipsed the century mark as Beallsville handed visiting St. John Central.
The Blue Devils, who were decimated by graduation to start the season, rallied to win three of their last four games, avoiding a losing season.

OLD WASHINGTON - Coach Jay Circosta, the Ohio Valley's all-time winningest football coach, guided Monroe Central to a pasting of homestanding Buckeye Trail at Old Washington. Circosta's 283rd career triumph netted the Seminoles the OVAC AA title and the Pioneer Valley Conference championship.
Moreover, it will likely land the 'Noles a home game in the opening round of the Division V Region 19 playoffs.
Monroe Central amassed more than 300 yards rushing while senior quarterbacking ace Derek-London Dierkes passed for another 122, despite only attempting 10 passes.

YORKVILLE -Buckeye Local capped coach Ron Pobolish's final regular season in a big way, as the Panthers won an eighth game and will be playing host to their first home playoff game in history.
The Panthers exploded for 46 first-half points, nearly 300 yards of total offense and two interceptions before halftime.
Among the big plays was a Zack Bonds 54-yard punt return and a 16-yard scoring run by Bobby Spence.
