Bob and Jane Ripley of New Martinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashton Nichole Ripley, to Joshua Adam Smith, son of Rob and Dawn Smith of Proctor.
Ripley is a 2005 graduate of Magnolia High School and a 2007 graduate of West Virginia Northern Community College with an associate degree in radiographic technology.
Smith is a 2004 graduate of Magnolia High School and a 2006 graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College. He is employed by Consol as a maintenance foreman.
A Sept. 10 wedding is planned.
