ARNETT, Lois E., 79, of Wheeling died Sunday, June 3, 2012 in Wheeling Hospital.
She was born March 28, 1933 in Paden City, WV, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Minnie Wetzel Price. Lois owned and operated her own beauty shop for many years, ran for the 4th Ward Council seat in 1985 and was a member of Thompson Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Dexter Arnett and a daughter, Patricia Barnes.
Surviving are five children, James Price of MS, Debra "Candy" Cox-Adkins of Charleston, WV, Terry Price of Wheeling, Danny Price of Harrisville, WV, Joan Price of CA; a sister, Patricia Parr of Middleton, WV, 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services and interment were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, WV.
