MARSHALL COUNTY - A new member, a new president and vice president will be put in place Monday as the Marshall County Board of Education convenes for its statutory meeting.
During the meeting, new member John Miller will be sworn in. Miller will replace outgoing member Dave Hall, who chose not run in May's election.
Once Miller is sworn in, a temporary chairman will be selected. According to the agenda for the meeting, any member can call the meeting to order and move to make another member of the board acting chairman.

Board member Roger Lewicki has served as the president, while Hall served as vice president. A vice president will be selected by the board.
The board will then proceed with new business, setting dates for future board meetings and making appointments to various committees.
The committee ap-pointments include RESA 6, West Virginia University Extension Service, Professional Staff Developmental Council, Service Personnel Staff Development Council, Marshall County Health Department and Roberts Trust Fund.
Also on the agenda, the board is set to vote to authorize Superintendent Fred Renzella to purchase necessary instructional materials, textbooks, furniture and equipment and janitorial, administrative and transportation supplies and equipment.
The meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. today at the board of education office on Fourth Street in Moundsville.
