Suzanne Jebbia

JEBBIA, Suzanne R., 87, of Wheeling, died Sunday, July 8, 2012 in Wheeling Hospital.

She was born November 10, 1924 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Deloe and Katherine Smith Shivley.

Suzanne was a homemaker, a graduate of Wheeling High School, Class of 1942, and a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church where she served as Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Church Trustee, and President of the E.C.W. Suzanne was also a member of the Altar Guild and taught both Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.

In addition to her parents, Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband, Christian Albert Jebbia; and a sister, Jacqueline Pesta.

Surviving are three children, D.J. Jebbia and his wife Debbie, Janice Klenowski and her husband Paul, Debbie Cooey and her husband Gary, all of Wheeling; a brother, Thomas Shivley and his wife Judith of Roseville CA, six grandchildren; Jennifer (Roger) Haigh of Kenosha, WI, Paul Michael Klenowski of Hermitage PA, Christy (Greg) Gammon of Columbus, OH, Susie (Chuck) Miller of Wheeling, Michael Jebbia of Wheeling and Kelly Jebbia of Royal Oak MI; and seven great-grandchildren, Andrew, Benjamin, Greg, Zach, Kate, Elijah, Luke; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 10 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling.

Funeral services will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church on Wednesday, July 11 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Theresa Kelley officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
