DAUGHERTY, Rose R., 78, of Wileyville, WV, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at her home.
Rose was born April 28, 1934, in Cresap, Marshall County, WV, daughter of the late Orion and Rose Moore Rine.
She was a homemaker who loved cooking, raising flowers and gardening and a member of the Low Gap Church located near Hilltop.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Butch Daugherty and sister, Leona Rine.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years James Neil Daugherty; son, Dennis K. Daugherty of Huntington, WV; brother, Wendell (Carolyn) Rine of Moundsville, WV; two sisters, Gloria Terrell of Elm Grove, WV and Glenna Anderson of Moundsville, WV; daughter-in-law, Patty Daugherty of Washington Land, WV; two grandsons, Shane and Joshua Daugherty.
Friends received 2-8 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Homes, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2012 with Delbert Lasure officiating.
Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
