FISE, Fredrick Howard, 70, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born January 21, 1942, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Harry C. and Gertrude Barbara Miller Fise.
He was a former employee of Valley Welding of Wheeling, and he was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of St. Michael Knights of Columbus, and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
Fred was an avid bowler and golfer, and he enjoyed delivering for Meals on Wheels.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dawna Marlene Bryan Fise; a sister, Mary Ann Fise Matz; and a brother, Joseph Anthony Fise.
Surviving are a sister, Linda Louise Brafchak of Copperas Cove, TX; a brother, Donald F. Fise and his wife, Ruth Ellen, of Wheeling; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012, at the Kepner Funeral Home (304-2423-2311), 166 Kruger Street, Elm Grove, Wheeling. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2012, at St. Michael Catholic Church, with Father Raju Antony as celebrant.
Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
